What we do
Here are some of the Outreaches
of our ministry
The feeding
program:
At the present we have 4 children’s services per week with
an attendance of around 150 in total. Each service is in a different
location in and around the city of Reynosa, Tam. Mexico. We are also working
in two schools with our feeding program. One school has 63 students and the
other has 16 students. We provide meals for the students each day, which
comes to a total of 395 meals per week at the schools. In total with our
children’s services and the school lunch program we are feeding 545 children
per week. This year we have expanded our feeding program to include some
families that are in need of help. At the present we are helping 3 families
each week with much needed food and support. Just an example, one of the
families that come to our feed each week lives on 10.00 dollars per week.
The mother has 3 children with no father in the house. She is a very dear
sister and Wendy and I feel led to help. We also help, as we can, the people
that live around us. We supply beans and rice and vegetables when we can. We
want to thank with all of our hearts Pastor’s Sandy and Doyla Shaw and
Believers Faith Fellowship of Neosho, Mo for their help in this area of
ministry.
Vitamin Supplement Program:
Each child that is
in our feeding program receives a vitamin each day 7 days a week. The
teachers in the schools help us to make sure that each student receives a
vitamin per day and we give out at each service a packet of 7 vitamins per
week. With the help of “Hands of Jesus Ministry” we are able to supply these
vitamins.
Having
fun while learning:
This year through the help of “Hands of Jesus
Ministry International Inc.” based in Garden City, Kansas and the director
Rose Buschman. We had our first summer school for the students of Reynosa,
to help them compete better in school. Without an education a child doesn’t
have very good chance of succeeding in his/her life. We spent a week with 3
sessions a day giving the students tools that they can take with them and
use in their schools to learn and retain what is being taught. At the end of
the week we were able to help each student with new shoes, a new uniform,
backpacks and school supplies. We were able to do this for around 100
children and because of this program 100 children started school feeling
better about themselves, and with everything they needed to begin school.
Again we want to thank “Hands of Jesus Ministry” for there support in this
program.
Children’s Crusades:
We had our first children’s crusade in November
of 2006. This is an area of our ministry that is in the beginning stages.
Our plan is to have several per year to reach to children much like an adult
crusade but would be on a child’s level. We are excited about having
crusades for kids. A tent was donated to our ministry and we want to use it
for the kids.
Children’s Ministry Center:
We have finished construction of our
Children’s Ministry Center and are using it. This is a place where children
can come and play, learn, be encouraged, be prayed for, to be helped with
problems at home, a safe haven for kids. We want to have a lending library
of books and videos, Christian music to listen to, Christian books to read,
Christian movies to watch. We also have children’s services and a place to prepare food for our
feeds.
Sharing
Among Believers:
This area of ministry, that we have started this
year (2007), is designed to help families, who are Christians, to have a

Our children are our future and it is our belief that we need to do everything we can to help shape, guide, and encourage this generation of children so they can shape their future.
